Salacia

In ancient Roman mythology, Salacia was female divinity of the sea and consort of Neptune. She presided over the depths of the ocean. This is another unfinished piece from the past that I had somehow forgotten. Sculpted in cherry wood from a log cut here in North Florida, and set aside in 2021. Restarted this piece on 29 April 2026 and it should not take too long to complete. I will probably look to set this upon a stone base.
